Booking Sold Out

Gary Rice's picture

Hi Claire

The website box that people click themselves to say they are attending and the similar thing in the Facebook group have no standing as to who has actually booked and paid.

webcollect is the way that is determined. Most events will have a limited number of participants. This event sold out within 24hrs of being posted. That is an increasing pattern we are seeing.as membership numbers and interest in the OCA increases.

There is space on the Petrified Paddling in March. The Easter Cumbria Meeting has just been released to there’s plenty of space on there at the moment. Likewise the family event at Bala in August if that’s your thing.

canoefest in North Wales will be open for booking soon. This will have space for 250 people to attend our flagship event.

so sorry you can’t get on this event. Watch the Facebook group for notice of new events becoming available and be quick to book

hope this helps

Attending or Not

Gary Rice's picture

Hi Gareth,

To attend you needed to follow the link shared at the bottom of the information that would have taken you you to the booking form to book and pay for your place. Th8s event sold out with 48hrs I’m afraid.

Syaing you’re attending on the website or Facebook page don’t I’m afraid mean anything except letting others know you intend to book.

I suggest you for the links to book your place next time.

Unable to attend

Tess Pearson's picture

Hi Joanne and Don,

I had booked for the weekend and was looking forward to it but have now got a date for a catatact operation later this week. This doesn't give me time be paddling again.

I hope it is not too late for someone to take up my place.

Best wishes from Tess Pearson
