£50 per person

£20 Under 5’s

Free Under 2’s

This will include all the fuel (Gas, wood, Charcoal and pellets) a basic Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Including fruit, salads, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, squash and snacks.

For those choosing this option you will be required to help out with the preparation and cooking of the meals as well as the clearing away.

You must provide your own eating utensils, plates, cups and bowls. As many of us are conscious of the environmental impact we make I ask that you also bring lunch boxes, flasks and reusable drinks bottles to help reduce the cling film and drinks cartoons we need to dispose of.

Example meals:

Breakfast: Cereals, Porridge, Egg or Bacon baps and pancakes.

Lunches: A packed lunch (made by your good selves and put into a lovely lunch box you brought with you!)

Dinner: Sausage casserole or Vegetarian chilli type thing, BBQ and Pizza’s and a pudding of some sort.

If you have a pizza oven please bring it as my sole oven couldn’t keep up with the demand by itself last year!

We are unable to cater for specific diets given the volunteers will be the coaches and the cooks (with your help) so have limited time and we have limited cooking equipment with no refrigeration facilities available to make lots of variations.

If you wish to book this option but have a specific diet requirement other than being vegetarian please contact me. linacanoe@btinternet.com, Facebook messenger or 07825553111

Kit List for those new to this activity!!

Although this will be summertime please remember we live in the UK! So pack accordingly for all weather conditions with plenty of spare clothes for those little ones.

Clothing for the water must be non-cotton so NO JEANS or tea shirts. Wool, thermals, fleece or wetsuit is best!

Waterproof Jacket and trousers  (the wind-chill is an issue not just rain!)

Water shoes old trainers are perfect (NOT flip flops) are a safety requirement and as such, must be worn in the canoe.

Buoyancy aids or a life jacket. Must be worn

Canoeing helmet if you are going on a river trip.

Please contact me if needed.

The 3 C’s (Canoeing, Camping and Cooking) is what this event is about so you can do as much or as little as you like just having FUN and learning along the way.  The coaches will have varied expertise and experiences so you can chat through thoughts and ideas when you arrive.

Thanks

Lina

Hi Tim,

To book you need to follow the 'BOOK HERE' Link that will take you the booking page.

Once you've done that then ring the campsite to confirm your pitch size and numbers. Quote 'Lina Canoe' to the campsite & they will deduct the £40 deposit you will have paid when booking.

hope that's clear

Hi,

We've just booked tickets but have manage to put the wrong details against the emergency contact forms (Nichola is an adult and Holly is the child). Sorry for any confusion.
