Glaskogen, Sweden

Glaskogen is a nature reserve established in 1970. It's situated on the border area between Årjäng, Arvika, Eda and Säffle in west Värmland. It is 28,000 hectares of dense forests with 80 lakes and Stora Gla, the largest of them all, at the heart of it. It's an ideal place for canoeing and many of its routes have cabins and laavus at which you can stop at overnight along the way.
