Britain's coastline gets explored by all manner of craft, from rowing boats to dinghies and from sea kayaks to yachts.  Most coastal canoeing tends to be in comparatively sheltered tidal waters (notably in estuaries and sea lochs), but recently, open canoes have been used to circumnavigate Anglesey, Mull, the Isle of Wight and Skye.

The OCA has been working to showcase good practice in coastal canoeing, and this group exists to bring together all the relevant content on our website.
