Foundations of Open Canoe safety. South East 6th-7th April 2019

Description.
A two day training course looking at confidence building by exploring ways that you can help keep yourself and others safe on and around the water.

Day 1.
Based at the Marlin (WAM canoe club) site in Yalding on the River Medway in Kent.

Dry land session will cover the principal that safety is a way of thinking.

Wet sessions will look at kit and ways to put that thinking into practice.



Day 2. 
An accompanied trip on part of the River Medway Canoe trail with some practical exercises.



Camping is available locally.
