OCA Cumbria Easter Meet

We are very sorry to announce that we have had to cancel the OCA Cumbria Easter Meet.

We do not, at this stage, have enough bookings to make the event financially viable.

We felt that it would be unfair on all the people who have offered workshops, and supported us in other ways, if we did not give them a reasonable amount of notice to make other arrangements for the Easter weekend.

It was a hard decision make.

We will however be running some trips and events.

These are provisional details:

Apr 19 to 22 2019, 11:00am - 2:00pm
Cumbria, Coniston, LA8 0NW, Lake District

Open Canoe Festival, Drome, France

Paul Villecourt and his team will once again be hosting the Open Canoe Festival and in 2019 it is back to the traditional Easter weekend.
This event here on the OCA FB Group has been is created for OCA members to note their interest so people can arrange lift shares etc.
It is bound to be a popular event with opportunities to extend your holiday and paddle other rivers either before or after the event.

Easter on The Norfolk Braods

Our first visit of 2019 To Barton Turf to experience some great flat water paddling in Britain's Magical Waterland. A variety of rivers, canals and Broads to explore from our base at Barton Turf with the added bonus of Otters, Kingfishers and the elusive Bittern. This is likely to be a combined event with OCSG and WCHA so we have every base covered. If we go to Horstead Mill we can also find some East Anglian White water for those who want some froth on their bow!

Save the date. A link to the 2019 BTAC booking form will be made available in the New Year.
