This weekend is ideal for both the family canoeist and the more proficient paddler.
Family non-canoeists are welcome to attend the weekend, the surrounding area being a popular holiday destination and they will only be liable to campsite fees.
The 2 day programme will be ideal for both the family canoeists and the more proficient paddler. You will explore this beautiful area in graded groups, with the group’s ability being matched to the various water conditions found within the estuary. Expect to paddle 4-6 hours each day.
Only basic skills are needed, but kit requires to be of BCU 4*Star standard, including spare paddle. Canoes to have 12.5kg (30lbs) minimum buoyancy securely fixed at each end.

Participants to arrive and complete paperwork, discuss/prepare for weekend.
Total Cost £10 plus campsite fees. (book direct) and food.

N.B. Children under 16 must be accompanied by Parent or guardian at all times

The campsite is next to a SSSI. Children can help Kate feed the chickens. (timing dependant)
Bring your own toilet paper.
We will be around a camp fire/BBQ in the evening. Bring your own food.
